Boothbay also has plenty of great walking trails and nature preserves maintained by Boothbay Region Land Trust that have excellent views of the rocky coast and beautiful woodlands. Belfast is also one of the smallest towns in the US to have two competing farmer’s markets- United Farmers Market of Maine (Open Saturdays) and the Belfast Farmer’s Market (Open Fridays).
